Start Your OwnFestival

Got a field, a town square, a campground, or just an idea? We'll help you build a bluegrass festival around it.

What we can handle

Take as much or as little as you want off your plate. Some folks want the whole thing done for them. Some just need the bands booked.

  • Booking the bands

Finding the right acts for your crowd and budget, working out the deals, and getting the contracts signed.

  • Planning the day

The run of show, meaning the schedule of who plays when, how long each set runs, and the changeovers between bands.

  • Venue and setup

Stage, sound, lights, power, vendors, parking, and camping if you want it. We'll walk you through what needs to be lined up and when.

  • Tickets

Setting prices, picking a ticket company, and deciding on things like weekend passes, day passes, and VIP.

  • Getting the word out

Radio, social media ads, posters, press, and a spot on this site, which bluegrass fans already use to find festivals.

  • Running the show

Being there on the day to keep the stage on time and handle the hundred little things that come up.

Who we work with

  • Towns and chambers of commerce
  • Parks and recreation departments
  • Campgrounds and farms
  • Breweries and wineries
  • Nonprofits and fundraisers
  • Fairs and existing events adding a bluegrass day
  • Festivals that need a hand
